Prop firm trading journal
A trading journal for prop firm traders
Keep evals, funded accounts and live accounts straight, and review the trades behind each one.
A prop firm trading journal tracks your evaluation and funded accounts separately and records the trades inside them. Toreda imports from TopstepX and TheFuturesDesk through ProjectX, lets you tag each account by stage, and scores every trade so you can see how you are trading, not only what you made.
Import from your prop firm
TopstepX and TheFuturesDesk both run on ProjectX. Sync your trades with your ProjectX API key. Accounts you trade through Tradovate or NinjaTrader can be added too, each through its own integration.
Browse every connection on the integrations hub.
Tag accounts by stage
Every account can carry a stage so your journal matches how your prop firm journey actually looks.
- Eval: an evaluation in progress.
- Eval passed: an evaluation you cleared.
- Eval failed: an evaluation that washed out.
- Funded: the funded account itself.
- Blown: a funded account you lost.
- Live: a real-money brokerage account.
You can also note the firm name on each account and link a funded account back to the eval it came from.
Record how each account ended
When you close an account, you choose an outcome: Passed, Failed, Blown or Closed. Add a note about what happened, such as breaking your daily loss limit. Closed accounts keep their trades, so the review is still there later.
Watch your drawdown
The dashboard includes a drawdown chart that shows your distance from your peak account balance, next to your cumulative P&L and balance curves. Filter by account to look at one eval or funded account at a time.
Review the process behind the account
Discipline often decides how an eval goes. Score each trade on Setup Quality, Execution Quality, Risk Management, Emotional Control and Process Compliance, and flag revenge trades, moved stops and oversized positions. Use the AI Trade Analyzer and Daily Recap to review what happened, and your Enneagram Trader Profile to understand your blind spots.
The same journal also handles personal stock and options accounts. New to the product? Start with the trading journal overview.
